It has rained and rained this week. Reminds me of the nursery rhyme we learned as kids: "Rain, Rain go away. Come again another day." But the Bible compares rain to what happens when the knowledge of God comes into our lives. Hosea 6:3 says:
Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord.
His going forth is established as the morning;
He will come to us like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth.
So maybe this should be: Rain, Rain come to stay. Refresh my soul each day.
Now its your turn. Think of a way to re-write a common nursery rhyme which summarizes a Bible verse that encourages you. (This is hard...took me all week to think of one.)
