Nature Sings

Nature Sings

This week on the radio, commentators have been talking about the sounds of the ice melt on the Great Lakes. They have described it was everything from whale-talking sounds, to howling and scraping. That got me to thinking about the sounds of spring around us. The songwriter, Maltbie Davenport Babcock, wrote "all nature sings and round me rings the music of the spheres."  (Get inspired by listening to GLAD as they sing this old hymn in a new way.)
So this weeks challenge is the word list and Bible Verse like last week but let the sounds of spring inspire you. Open the window, go outside, walk, stand still and listen as nature sings. Then tell us what you heard.

singing, laughing, frolicking, joyful, alive, New, lively

Psalm 9:1-2 MSG

I’m thanking you, God , from a full heart, I’m writing the book on your wonders. I’m whistling, laughing, and jumping for joy; I’m singing your song, High God.

I heard birds singing. Saw squirrels frolicking. The sun warmed my face as children laughed and played in the distance. My dog joyfully jumping around in the yard.
