It's Wonderful to be Green (3/1/2014)
Get up close and personal with a plant (a real one, not a photo--no cheating). Really study an area less than 6 inches square. Make a list of 10-20 descriptive words which describe what you see (not sentences, just a word list). Arrange the word list from least to most, titled with the name of the plant. Find and memorize a Bible verse that reminds you of the "most" word on your list. On or before next Sabbath, share your list and Bible verse with the group by posting to the member space. Here's an example:
Moss: peeking, fronds, steadfast, clinging, evergreen, verigated, verdant, chartreuse, soft, GREEN!
Song of Solomon 1:16-17. The Shulamite woman beckons her Beloved saying, "Behold, you are handsome, my beloved!
Yes, pleasant! Also our bed is green. The beams of our houses are cedar, And our rafters of fir."
